The meeting was called to order at 2:09 P.M. by President Chuck Horner. Members present: Paul Cooper, Bayle Emlein, Jan Fagerholm, Diane George, Chuck Horner, Sid Jordan, Tom Smith and Elsie Smith.

The minutes of the February meeting were approved.

Old Business: Chuck distributed a draft of a PCC tri-fold. He has been distributing Newsletters to students in Hayward Adult School computer classes.

Jan is working on updating the membership form.

Clubhouse Report - Sid Jordan:

Sid has some email corrections. He brought $100 in donations and a membership renewal from the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse has received a new order of MAR licenses for Windows XP. They are still short of computers to work on. The Clubhouse may be closed April 8 and 11 for Spring Break. Check the PCC Web site for latest information.

VP Newsletter - Elsie Smith:

Chuck, Jan, Elsie, Del, and Tom are distributing Newsletters to various locations. Are there others who can leave a few at their doctor’s, hair dresser’s, and other places they frequent? Chuck will cover the computer repair shop at Five Corners and Eden Youth Center.

At the Main Meeting Elsie will ask for more volunteers who can distribute a few Newsletters each. Chuck suggested including an application with the Newsletter. Sid suggested including a direct appeal to join with the Newsletter.

Programs - Verne Perry and Jan Fagerholm are interested in showing the innovative interface of Linux Mint 6, code name (“Felecia”) in April.

Calendar: No changes to the Clubhouse schedule. Check the PCC Web site for late SIG updates.

Fund Raiser: Epson Stylus NX-400 all-in-one printer/scanner optimized for photos. (For sure this time)

New Business: The Southwest Regional Conference is conducting a photo contest. Members of user groups that attend are eligible to send entries. The photographer need not personally attend the Conference, though all are welcome. We will vote on the 4 PCC entries during the Main Meeting on April 4. Photos will be judged on Composition, Technical Skill, and Visual Impact. The categories are People, Nature, Animals, Still Life. Members are encouraged to bring a print and a digital version of their photo entries to the April 4 meeting. The print should be between 5” x 7” and 8.5” x 11”.
