Main Meeting-Friday, February 2, 2018, at 7:30 pm

Join us on Friday, February 2, 2018, at  7:30 pm, at Calvary Baptist Church, 28924 Ruus Road, Hayward. The speaker will be R.J. Walker, who will speak about cybersecurity and how to create passwords, followed by a Question and Answer period. 


Manhattan KnappackThis month's raffle prize will be a Manhattan Knappack. It is designed as a lightweight, convenient and affordable carrier for your laptop computer. Its main top-loading cargo compartment features a padded inner sleeve for a laptop computer up to 15.6", and offers ample space for books, clothing and other items. It also has an outer carryall pocket that is ideally suited for pens, business cards and other smaller items, as well as an elastic mesh side pocket for carrying a water bottle or other small cargo. APCUG Winter Virtual Technology Conference

  1. Winter Virtual Technology Conference, February 10 – 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm ET. Attend APCUG’s FREE 2018 Winter Virtual Technology Conference (VTC) from the comfort of your own home. You can attend using your computer or tablet with the Zoom app. Even though there are two tracks, you only need to register once. Before the event, you will receive an email with directions and links for attending both conference tracks. Make sure you have the latest version of Zoom for your device. “Zoom Client for Meetings - The web browser client will download automatically when you start or join your first Zoom meeting and is also available for manual download at the below URL.”


When you attend the conference, please sign in with the user name and e-mail address you used to register for the event.

If you are hesitant to use Zoom for the first time, please get in contact with the VTC committee and someone will do a 1:1 session with you so you become familiar with how the VTCs work. virtualconferences (@) apcug.org

Map and Directions

Take 880 to the Tennyson Road exit in Hayward. Take the exit toward the hills. Proceed northeast on Tennyson Rd. about 0.7 mile to the 5th stoplight. This will be Ruus Road. Turn right on Ruus Road and proceed southeast for about 0.4 mile. Look for Calvary Baptist Church on your left. Turn left into the driveway into the parking lot. Parking is available anywhere from the driveway to the back of the lot. Look for the PCC signs. View the map and get directions.
